FoundryGeneral® Sand Treatment 16-250 is used as a lubricant and release agent for Green Sand, Core Oil, Hot Box and Sodium Silicate sand mixes. FoundryGeneral® Sand Treatment 16-250 is a blend of solvent and waxes, which increases lubricity, reduces sticking and increases sand density. It out performs kerosene and other lubricating oils in reducing sticking; promotes core oil dispersion in a muller; increases sand flowability and reduces clean up of sand handling equipment.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
FoundryGeneral® Sand Treatment 16-250 is used as received. It is added at a ratio of ¼ percent (based on sand weight) to the sand. The sand is then mixed for 15 seconds prior to discharge. Please refer to the MSDS for proper safety instructions.
Product is combustible. Avoid heat, sparks and open flames. Avoid strong oxidizing agents (i.e. bleach) and strong acids.
