FoundryGeneral® Metal Cleaner 4375 is used as received. It can be applied using either spray or brush applications. To provide proper removal, it is recommended that the product be allowed to set for a period of approximately three (3) to ten (10) minutes, depending on the severity and thickness of the resin to be removed. Due to the relatively slow evaporation rate, when compared to Methylene Chloride based formulas, additional care or air blow off may be necessary before resuming production. Please refer to the MSDS for proper safety instructions.
Spray or brush the
metal cleaner directly on the build-up
areas. Allow it to soak for 15
minutes. Remove softened films.
Small parts can be immersed
and soaked in the cleaner.
Remove all excess cleaner residue
before recommissioning the tooling
back into the process.
Foundry Meal cleaner 4375 can also
be used for cleaning tooling at the
machine to clean resin build up or
blocked vents .
CAUTION : Can attack non metallic
parts such as plastic tooling. On
plastic tooling such as epoxy or
urethane,, use caution and
patch test on a small section or on
test panel to assure it works
the way you want it. Metal
cleaner designed to remove resins can
attack plastic tooling and
surfaces. |
