  FoundryGeneral® Foundry Cleaner 2988 is a unique water extended NMP formulation that has been designed to aggressively break down urethane resins and release agents from the screens, vents and surface of core boxes.

Immersion Cleaner, Foundry Cleaner, Foundry Supplies RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:

FoundryGeneral® Foundry Cleaner 2988 is used as received. It has been formulated to be used in an immersion system.

FoundryGeneral® Foundry Cleaner 2988 should be heated to a temperature between 100 to 150°F and agitated by some means (i.e. mixer, air, ultrasonic). The warmer the material, the more effective it will be. Boxes should remain immersed 15 to 20 minutes before removal at which point they should be blown off or steam cleaned. Please refer to the MSDS for proper safety instructions.
