  FoundryGeneral® Mold Release 168 is a unique blend of silicones in a medium aliphatic solvent naphtha. FoundryGeneral® Mold Release 168 is used on both Cold Box and No-Bake machines.

Cold Box Release Agents, Mold Release Agent, Solvent Based Mold Release RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:

FoundryGeneral® Mold Release 168 is used as received. Apply either by spraying, brushing or wiping. Whatever technique is used, it is recommended a uniform coat be applied to insure consistent release. When sprayed, the spray should be directed into the core box cavity to avoid parting line build-up. The frequency of application will depend on core complexity and application technique. Application frequency should provide good release properties while minimizing build-up. Please refer to the MSDS for proper safety instructions.
